Contact The Governor Today |
| Office of the Governor State House 25 Capitol Street Concord, NH 03301 (603)271-2121 |
Dear Freedom to Marry E-Activist,
Office of the Governor
State House
25 Capitol Street
Concord, NH 03301(603)271-2121
(603)271-8788 (fax)NH Governor Lynch has refused to include health care protections for our families working for the state. The State Employees Association is fighting to make sure ALL it's members are given the same benefits under it's contract with the state through a Domestic Partners clause for unmarried state employees in committed relationships. This is the only way our families will share the same benefits enjoyed by their colleagues.
Take action now!
Please call the Governor and urge him to stop discriminating against our families.
Call the Governor now:
(603) 271-2121
Governor Lynch supported Domestic Partner benefits for employees of the State University System when he was a trustee. His flip flop on the issue is due to political pressure and his willingness to discriminate against our families for political expediency. We must remind him that discrimination is always wrong.
Our families need and deserve the same health care and bereavement leave benefits offered to other state employees.
We support SEA in their fight for a fair contract and believe as they do that an injury to one is an injury to all. We do not accept the Governors excuse that a Domestic Partners benefit would fail in the house.
We need to stop this willingness to discriminate before it's too late.
We expect the Governor to work with citizens across our great state to make New Hampshire a better place for all of us.
Thanks for working for our families.
